Prosthetics
A Prosthetist is a specialized practitioner who evaluates and fits an amputee with an artificial limb. Our practitioners evaluate a patient to assist in the creation of a prescription for a prosthesis. Many factors are taken into consideration during the evaluation process to formulate an individual prosthetic design specific to the needs of each individual patient.
RPI has a large, modern, high-tech laboratory in our Winchester location where prostheses are fabricated. Having an on-site laboratory allows for immediate adjustments and repairs which increases the quality of care provided to our patients.
