Prior to establishing Rehabilitation Practitioners, Inc, the Shenandoah Valley tri-state area received prosthetic and orthotic services from a facility in Washington, DC. There were obvious limitations to both the Practitioners and the patients with monthly clinics from a facility located hours away. Seeing the incredible need for better and faster service to the patients of this rural and underserved area, RPI opened in Winchester, Virginia, in 1990.
